This paper adopts a systematic literature review methodology combined with bibliometric, network and content analysis based on 348 papers identified from mainstream academic databases. This review provides insights not previously fully captured or evaluated by other reviews on this topic, including key authors, key journals and the prestige of the reviewed papers. Using rigorous bibliometric and visualisation tools, we identified four research clusters, including deteriorating inventory models under trade credit policy based on the EOQ/EPQ model; inventory decisions with trade credit policy under more complex situations; interaction between replenishment decisions and delay payment strategies in the supply chain and roles of financing service in the supply chain. Based on the clusters identified, we carried out a further content analysis of 112 papers, identifying research gaps and proposing seven actionable directions for future research. The findings provide a robust roadmap for further investigation in this field.}, - doi = {https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ijpe.2018.08.003}, - file = {:Xu2018 - Supply Chain Finance_ a Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis.pdf:PDF}, - keywords = {Supply chain finance, Literature review, Bibliometric analysis, Network analysis, Co-citation, Content analysis}, - url = {https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0925527318303098}, -} - -@Book{Sodhi2012, - author = {Sodhi, ManMohan S and Tang, Christopher S}, - publisher = {Springer Science \& Business Media}, - title = {Managing supply chain risk}, - year = {2012}, - volume = {172}, -} - -@Book{Kouvelis2011, - author = {Kouvelis, Panos and Dong, Lingxiu and Boyabatli, Onur and Li, Rong}, - publisher = {John Wiley \& Sons}, - title = {Handbook of integrated risk management in global supply chains}, - year = {2011}, -} - -@Article{Gelsomino2016, - author = {Gelsomino, Luca Mattia and Mangiaracina, Riccardo and Perego, Alessandro and Tumino, Angela}, - journal = {International Journal of Physical Distribution \& Logistics Management}, - title = {Supply chain finance: a literature review}, - year = {2016}, - publisher = {Emerald Group Publishing Limited}, -} - -@Article{Chakuu2019, - author = {Chakuu, Sumeer and Masi, Donato and Godsell, Janet}, - journal = {International Journal of Production Economics}, - title = {Exploring the relationship between mechanisms, actors and instruments in supply chain finance: A systematic literature review}, - year = {2019}, - pages = {35--53}, - volume = {216}, - publisher = {Elsevier}, -} - -@Article{Gomm2010, - author = {Gomm, Moritz Leon}, - journal = {International Journal of Logistics: Research and Applications}, - title = {Supply chain finance: applying finance theory to supply chain management to enhance finance in supply chains}, - year = {2010}, - number = {2}, - pages = {133--142}, - volume = {13}, - publisher = {Taylor \& Francis}, -} - -@Article{LodreeJr2008, - author = {Lodree Jr, Emmett J and Taskin, Selda}, - journal = {Journal of the Operational Research Society}, - title = {An insurance risk management framework for disaster relief and supply chain disruption inventory planning}, - year = {2008}, - number = {5}, - pages = {674--684}, - volume = {59}, - publisher = {Springer}, -} - -@Article{Lin2010, - author = {Zhibing Lin and Chen Cai and Baoguang Xu}, - journal = {European Journal of Operational Research}, - title = {Supply chain coordination with insurance contract}, - year = {2010}, - issn = {0377-2217}, - number = {2}, - pages = {339--345}, - volume = {205}, - abstract = {We propose an insurance contract under which the supplier shares the risk of overstock and understock with the retailer, improving the efficiency of the supply chain with a newsvendor-type product. For the manufacturers in question, one of their entrepreneurial risks is to incur lower than expected sales because of adverse weather conditions. The variability of weather conditions is expected to continue to rise because of climate change. Manufacturers can choose to do nothing and suffer the financial consequences, or transfer the weather risk partly or wholly to others. This paper presents an approach to transfer weather risks to risk takers and reduce sales volatility using weather index-based financial instruments. In our approach, the risk of adverse weather conditions is calculated on the basis of adverse conditions observed in the past. We do not use forecasts of weather conditions. We illustrate our action design with case studies of three companies: a company manufacturing automotive replacement parts, a clothing company and a company producing of sunscreen products. We demonstrate its efficiency in reducing cash-flow uncertainty and potential losses caused by adverse weather, and in influencing sales to the next tier.}, - doi = {https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jom.2018.10.002}, - keywords = {Design science, Weather sensitivity, Risk management, Supply chain, Coordination, Weather hedge}, - url = {https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0272696318300718}, -} - -@Misc{spacex, - author = {Tariq, Malik}, - month = dec, - note = {\url{https://www.space.com/23744-spacex-rocket-launches-landmark-commercial-satellite.html} Accessed December 4, 2013}, - title = {SpaceX Launches Falcon 9 Rocket On High-Stakes Commercial Satellite Mission}, - year = {2013}, -} - -@Article{Yu2021, - author = {Yu, Rong and Wu, Zhong and Qu, Shaojian}, - journal = {Complexity}, - title = {Optimal strategy of supply chain considering interruption insurance}, - year = {2021}, - volume = {2021}, - publisher = {Hindawi}, -} - -@Article{Li2022, - author = {Li, Jian and He, Zhou and Wang, Shouyang}, - journal = {International Journal of Production Economics}, - title = {A survey of supply chain operation and finance with fintech: research framework and managerial insights}, - year = {2022}, - pages = {108431}, - publisher = {Elsevier}, -} - -@Book{TheSpaceReport2021, - author = {The Space Report}, - publisher = {The Space Report}, - title = {The space report 2021 36th annual space symposium special edition}, - year = {2021}, - doi = {https://doi.org/https://doi.org/10.1787/9789264217294-en}, - pages = {144}, - url = {https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/content/publication/9789264217294-en}, -} - -@Book{OECD2014, - author = {OECD}, - title = {The space economy at a glance 2014}, - year = {2014}, - doi = {https://doi.org/https://doi.org/10.1787/9789264217294-en}, - pages = {144}, - url = {https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/content/publication/9789264217294-en}, -} - -@InProceedings{Gould2000, - author = {Gould, Allen J and Linden, Orin M}, - booktitle = {Casualty Actuarial Society}, - title = {Estimating satellite insurance liabilities}, - year = {2000}, - pages = {47--84}, -} - -@Article{Suchodolski2018, - author = {Suchodolski, Jeanne}, - journal = {J. Insurance companies like \textit{Global Aerospace} have been providing different space insurance services, which can be roughly divided into four types according to satellite project phases: pre-launch insurance\footnote{ Pre-launch insurance covers damage to a satellite or launch vehicle during the construction, transportation, and processing phases prior to launch.}, launch insurance\footnote{Launch insurance covers losses of a satellite occurring during the launch phase of a project. It insures against complete launch failures as well as the failure of a launch vehicle to place a satellite in the proper orbit.}, in-orbit insurance\footnote{In-orbit policies insure satellites for in-orbit technical problems and damages once a satellite has been placed by a launch vehicle in its proper orbit.}, and launch plus life insurance\footnote{Third-party liability and government property insurances protect launch service providers and their customers in the event of public injury or government property damage, respectively, caused by launch or mission failure.}.
